While human trafficking can occur to individuals of any age, gender, sexuality, nationality, and socio-economic class, Native American and Alaskan Native communities are disproportionately impacted by this crime.
DHS Blue Campaign and Lyft, Inc. announced a new tutorial program that will help rideshare drivers in the United States and Canada detect and prevent human trafficking. The tutorial is one part of a first-of-its kind partnership between Lyft and DHS Blue Campaign.

This two-part animated video series, created by the Center for Countering Human Trafficking’s Blue Campaign, raises awareness of how to keep young people safe while playing online video games and provide tips to parents and adults working with youth on how to recognize signs of human trafficking.
As of February 26, 2021, the HSI led DHS Center for Countering Human Trafficking (CCHT) assumed responsibility for processing Continued Presence requests, and has been working diligently to ensure that law enforcement officers are aware this important tool is available to assist human trafficking victims.
