The northern border between the U.S. and Canada serves as an important conduit for trade and travel into the country. However, safeguarding and securing this vital point of entry presents unique challenges—threats like human trafficking and illicit drug smuggling. Over the next two years, S&T will work with partners across the federal government to test and implement state-of-the-art aerial surveillance technologies, sensors, and capabilities in several different geographical regions along the border.
