Information on Afghan culture and religion, for the Operation Allies Welcome staff: This video describes how we can tailor our responses to be sensitive to and appreciative of Afghan cultural backgrounds and experiences at every stage of the resettlement process. It explains how we can develop cultural competence by being aware of the differences between our personal cultural backgrounds and those of the Afghan evacuees we are assisting, and learn to communicate in a culturally competent manner.
