Secretary Napolitano to Visit Los Angeles to Tour DHS Operations and Meet with Congressional, State and Local Officials

U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano will travel to Los Angeles on Monday, April 13, to meet U.S. Representatives Jane Harman, Laura Richardson and Maxine Waters, talk with state and local officials, and tour air and sea ports of entry. The visit will allow Secretary Napolitano greater ground-level visibility on DHS security measures and new technologies being implemented in the Los Angeles area, and will include a press availability at the Port of LA/Long Beach.
