Statement by Press Secretary Marsha Catron on Secretary Johnson's Upcoming Trip to California

On Nov. 13-15, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson will travel to Los Angeles to meet with community leaders and state and local law enforcement to discuss the ongoing collaboration with the Department of Homeland Security on civil rights and civil liberties and safeguarding local communities, as well as building partnerships between community organizations and state and local officials.

While in Los Angeles, Secretary Johnson will deliver remarks at a naturalization ceremony and at an event hosted by the Pacific Council on International Policy. Secretary Johnson will also participate in a panel discussion at the Ronald Reagan National Defense Forum. Additional details will be forthcoming.
