On Dec. 8, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson, joined by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director León Rodríguez, will travel to New York to participate in the Mayors Summit on Immigration Implementation hosted by New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. During the Summit, Secretary Johnson and Director Rodríguez will meet with attending mayors to discuss implementation efforts related to executive action on immigration and the important collaboration between the Department of Homeland Security and local governments to promote citizenship awareness, education, and outreach.
