WASHINGTON – On Friday, January 13, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh C. Johnson, U.S. Secret Service Deputy Director William Callahan, U.S. Capitol Police Chief Matthew Verderosa, and U.S. Park Police Deputy Chief Scott Fear will participate in a media availability to discuss preparations for the 2017 Inauguration.
Following remarks, representatives from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Transportation Security Administration, Federal Emergency Management Administration, Federal Protective Service, D.C. National Guard, and the Federal Aviation Administration will be present to address their organizations’ role in the operational security plan.
