WASHINGTON— On Saturday, September 3, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson will travel to Chicago to deliver remarks at the Islamic Society of North America’s (ISNA) 53rd annual convention—making him the first sitting Cabinet Secretary and the highest ranking United States Government official to ever personally address this convention.
Secretary Johnson will discuss his and the Obama Administration’s continued commitment to build bridges to Muslim American communities, and encourage Muslim Americans—particularly youth—to continue to fully participate in American society.
