DHS S&T CSAC led the Jack Rabbit project of large-scale outdoor chlorine release trials, with a collaborative team of partners and cosponsors from government, industry and academia.
DHS established the CSAC in 2006 to assess and identify vulnerabilities and respond to potential chemical threats and hazards to the homeland.
In 2006, by Presidential Directive, DHS established the Chemical Security Analysis Center (CSAC) to identify and assess chemical threats and vulnerabilities in the United States and develop the best responses to potential chemical hazards.
