Sometimes we need to be reminded that our internal light shines brightest for those who are seeking a refuge from all that is troubling them. There are many storms that people are weathering and when they come across us, and find a smile, a hello, or even a feeling of positive energy, it does more to comfort and support others than we may ever realize.
We don’t need to wait for the right time, or right moment, or even the right circumstance to be a beacon of light for others, because like everything in life, there’s never going to be a perfect alignment of stars indicating it’s time to shine your light…it’s the very shining of your light, without--or for--any reason that actually creates the right time, moment, and circumstance and elevates everyone, including yourself.
And, by the way, don’t shine your light half-heartedly or with hesitation…go full out with that light of yours! The world needs you to shine, because when we each shine our light, it opens up a gateway for others to shine their light, and then we find ourselves collectively avoiding those rocks on the shore of life. Shine on…it matters…you matter.
