National Nurses Week is celebrated every year from May 6-12 to shine a spotlight on nurses across the country that have devoted their lives to the betterment of others. At the Department of Homeland Security, we are fortunate to have an impressive team of nurses who contribute to the health of our DHS employees and the American public.
This year, we appreciate the tremendous and honorable work that all nurses do in support of COVID-19. Nurses not only provide patients with critical medical care, but also comfort them in the moments when their families cannot be with them. In honor of National Nurses Week, please join us in recognizing our incredible team of nurses across DHS. We extend our appreciation for the work they and all nurses do in support of the Department and our communities.
