Happy Autumn Equinox! Equinoxes occur twice a year…one in the Spring and one in the Autumn. And “equinox” is derived from the Latin meaning, “equal night,” meaning that all over the world, there is approximately 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark. And while throughout history, the equinoxes were used to celebrate and give thanks to all that the earth and nature has to offer to us, it can also be a perfect time to reflect--what has brought you contentment, where have you found joy, what has fulfilled you; it’s also just as important to reflect on what lessons have you learned that will help you not only today, but in the future as well.
Celebrate your successes and accomplishments, give thanks for all the blessings in your life, and learn from those things that haven’t gone so well…and just like the equinox, find the balance between the lightness and the darkness. Your life will unfold as intended because of what you choose to do today…choose to reflect on you today!
