Monday is Memorial Day. It is a day when we honor and pay special tribute to the members of our Armed Services who sacrificed their lives for our country. We are forever indebted to them.
I know that many of you will not be able to take time on Monday to honor the fallen, as the work of this Department never stops. I hope that you will set aside a different day to do so, even just a part of it.
Thank you for everything you do. Special thanks to the veterans and active-duty personnel among us.
