DHS Issues Plan on Retrospective Review of Regulations
In response to President Obama's January 18, 2011 Executive Order, DHS issued its Final Plan for the Retrospective Review of Existing Regulations in August 2011. The DHS Final Plan will facilitate DHS's periodic review of existing regulations to determine whether DHS should modify, streamline, expand, or repeal any DHS regulations. Our goal is to make DHS's regulatory program more effective or less burdensome in achieving its regulatory objectives.
