These programs are designed to give current students an opportunity to work alongside cyber leaders with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Participants will have the opportunity to apply concepts, protocols and tools acquired through coursework in the real world by working with cybersecurity/information technology experts or in cybersecurity/information technology support areas. By working side by side with experts in cybersecurity, participants will gain valuable work experience and apply concepts, protocols and tools acquired through their academic achievements.
The Cybersecurity Internship Program is designed to give current high school and college students an opportunity to work alongside cyber leaders with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Internships focus on DHS mission areas and include identification and analysis of malicious code, forensics analysis, incident handling, intrusion detection and prevention, software assurance, data management, cloud/web services, and network operations.
The Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Program is designed to give current students an opportunity to work alongside cyber leaders at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Hosted by the DHS Headquarters Office of the Chief Information Officer, CSAP offers apprentices part-time positions throughout the agency. Apprentices will gain valuable work experience and apply concepts, protocols and tools acquired through their academic achievements.
