Find Web Tools and Apps

Find the latest collection of DHS citizen applications (apps) on the Citizen Application Directory page. The collection is organized by topic and includes short descriptions of each tool to help you find what you need. The applications are web-based tools and mobile applications.

The DHS citizen application directory includes the following topic categories:

  • Business Apps
  • Data Apps
  • Disaster Response Apps
  • Immigration Apps
  • Mobile Apps
  • Preparedness Apps
  • Public Safety Apps
  • Training Apps
  • Traveler Apps

An example of a mobile application is MyTSA. This app gives you easy access to information you need to get through security and onto the plane safely and smoothly. This includes everything from packing tips, to a quick lookup of the rules of what items can be taken in checked or carry-on bags, delays at US airports and a crowd-sourcing tool to post and see other passengers’ checkpoint wait times.

An example of a web application is the DHS Travelers Redress Inquiry Program (TRIP). This App is for travelers who have been repeatedly identified for additional screening and who want to file an inquiry to have erroneous information corrected across DHS systems.
