GALVESTON, Texas — A previously convicted sex offender has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for receiving, possessing and distributing child pornography following an investigation by HSI Houston’s Galveston office, the Pearland Police Department, and the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Illeysel Carcasses, a 38-year-old Cuban national, was convicted Feb. 15 in the Southern District of Texas of illegally transporting noncitizens in the back of a locked tractor trailer filled with rotting produce.
