Emergency Management

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) leads the country’s risk-based, comprehensive emergency management system of preparedness, protection, response, recovery, and mitigation. FEMA strives to reduce the loss of life and property and protect the nation from a variety of hazards, including natural disasters and acts of terrorism.

FEMA reports on:

  • Risk assessments
  • Disaster declarations and statuses
  • Mission assignments

Office of Homeland Security Statistics Resources

The report will include data such as:

  • Disaster type
  • Region
  • Total number of deployments
  • Average deployment length
  • Peak deployment amount
  • Cadre

Other Resources

The following resources are not Office of Homeland Security Statistics products and may adhere to different data and reporting review processes.
