March 4, 2021, the Office of the CIS Ombudsman hosted a public webinar regarding USCIS' H-1B electronic registration process for attorneys and representatives.
On January 20, 2021, Acting Secretary Pekoske signed a memorandum directing DHS components to review immigration enforcement policies and set interim policies for civil enforcement. Beginning January 22, 2021, DHS will pause removals for certain noncitizens ordered deported to ensure we have a fair and effective immigration enforcement system focused on protecting national security, border security, and public safety.
