TUCSON, Ariz. — A Texas man was indicted Oct. 30 by a federal grand jury on charges of conspiracy to transport noncitizens and four counts of transportation of noncitizens.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Mathew Hoard, 40, of Smithfield, was sentenced Nov. 13 to 120 months in federal prison to be followed by eight years of federal supervised release.
