The Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting Initiative is a collaborative effort by the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial law enforcement partners that provides law enforcement with another tool to help prevent terrorism by establishing a national capacity for gathering, documenting, vetting, and sharing Suspicious Activity Reporting information.

The Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting Initiative’s standardized process and the eGuardian system are the primary tools used by the National Network of Fusion Centers to share terrorism-related suspicious activity with each other, as well as with the FBI for further assessment and investigation.

The Master Trainer Program certifies Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial partners in the instruction of Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management techniques and best practices.

This instructor development and certification program prepares Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial partners to train their local communities and empowers homeland partners to help mitigate threats and aid in preventing acts of targeted violence.

Certified Master Trainers receive exclusive access to training and resources that will assist communities with building Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management processes and utilizing Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management to prevent targeted violence and terrorism.
