Migrant Protection Protocols (Biden Administration Archive - December 2021)

As of 12:01am on August 25, 2021, the processing at ports of entry of individuals who were previously enrolled in MPP has been suspended.

On October 29, 2021, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas issued a new memorandum announcing and explaining his decision to terminate the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP) program.
