Secretary Goes to Florida with New FEMA, ICE Leaders
Homeland Security Secretary Napolitano plans to visit Florida on May 22 to see hurricane preparedness efforts underway and law enforcement activities at the Miami port of entry. ARRA Transportation Security Technologies Awards Announced
Secretary Janet Napolitano announced initial awards of $50 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds for explosive detection systems and advanced technology X-ray units that will streamline baggage screening and enhance security capabilities at airports nationwide.
