The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a strong commitment to our small business partners. To ensure that we do not have a lapse in service between FirstSource II (FSII) and the award of FirstSource III (FSIII), DHS will extend the FSII contracts. The extension is a result of DHS’s careful analysis of valuable industry feedback received from the initial FSIII draft solicitation and the virtual small business industry engagement event held in December 2020.
The current FSII ordering period ends on March 31, 2021. The new ordering period will extend through March 31, 2022. Please continue to monitor beta.SAM for updates on the FSIII procurement.
