This MOU outlines the Participants' mutually developed framework to enhance their collective capacity to design, produce, and maintain arctic and polar icebreakers, as well as other capabilities, by collectively increasing information exchange, industrial collaboration, and operational know-how.

DHS Adoption of Environmental Impact Statements for St. Elizabeths Campus
In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), DHS has adopted two Environmental Impact Statements (EISs) prepared by the General Services Administration (GSA) for activities at the St. Elizabeth’s campus. Dr. Teresa R. Pohlman, Executive Director of Sustainability and Environmental Programs, approved the adoption of the EISs on March 30, 2016. The complete EISs are available on the project website.

DHS Grant Review Task Force Membership List
In November 2014, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson directed his Homeland Security Advisory Council to form the DHS Grant Review Task Force in order to assess preparedness grant program effectiveness. The Task Force will be shifting the focus from how much funding needs to be provided in different areas, to a focus on what that funding should be used for. The Task Force will consider the National Preparedness Goal to address the outcomes that the grants process is intended to achieve, the mechanisms that are best suited to achieving the desired outcomes, as well as levels of approach.
