WASHINGTON – Today, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas met with Italian Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgese to discuss the strong bilateral partnership between the United States and Italy and ways to further enhance collaboration on shared priorities. Secretary Mayorkas and Minister Lamorgese discussed common challenges and best practices in managing irregular migration, and agreed to take steps to expand information sharing and formalize cooperation on combating cybercrime and increasing cybersecurity.
