DHS Section 803 Reports to Congress

Section 803 of the Implementing Recommendations of the 9/11 Commission Act of 2002 requires the DHS Privacy Office to report semiannually on the following activities:

1. Number and types of privacy reviews of Department actions undertaken;
2. Type of advice provided and the response given to such advice; and
3. Number and nature of privacy complaints received by DHS for alleged violations, along with a summary of the disposition of such complaints.

The reporting periods are April – September 30 and October – March.
