DHS/FEMA/PIA-026 Operational Data Store and Enterprise Data Warehouse

ODS and EDW replicate source system-provided data from other operational FEMA systems and provides a simplified way of producing Agency reports for internal use as well for external stakeholders. FEMA conducted this PIA because ODS and EDW collect, use, maintain, retrieve, and disseminate personally identifiable information (PII) pulled from the source systems.

• Since ODS and EDW do not collect information directly from individuals and no new information is created through the system about individuals, the information contained in the source systems performing the original collection is covered by the individual SORNs for those systems as listed in the PIA above.
