Body

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Office (CBRN), supports the RadResponder program. RadResponder is a free web-based platform that standardizes how all federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial disaster response organizations collect, store, use, and manage radiological data following a disaster or manmade event. RadResponder collects data at radiological sites for the purpose of analyzing the dangers of the site and to help emergency personnel determine how to mitigate the disaster’s impact and save lives. FEMA has conducted this privacy impact assessment (PIA) to cover how RadResponder collects, stores, uses, and protects users’ personally identifiable information (PII). August 2019
