This Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Update clarifies that the directory of user contact information and all e-mail traffic in, out, and between the Department of Homeland Security, its components, and the Internet is also available to users on mobile devices. This update also clarifies the records retention schedule and security of mobile devices; it does not cover the personally identifiable information (PII) that may be contained within the body of an email or attachment. February 2013
