Retention Memorandum: Winn Correctional Center

On September 5, 2024, CRCL issued ICE this memorandum announcing its multidisciplinary onsite investigation at the Winn Correctional Center in Winnfield, Louisiana.  An investigation into allegations that ICE violated the civil rights and civil liberties of noncitizens detained by ICE at Winn.  CRCL’s onsite investigation at Northwest concerns a review of a broad range of allegations broad range of allegations related to inappropriate use of force and treatment of noncitizens, environmental health/safety, and food service.
