The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) releases its Summary and Conclusions of the DHS Review conducted pursuant to Section 20(b) of Executive Order 14074, Advancing Effective, Accountable Policing and Strengthen Public Safety. This document outlines the conclusions from DHS’s review of its implementation and administrative enforcement of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI), 42 U.S.C. 2000d et seq.  The DHS review covered DHS’s law enforcement-related grantmaking operations to ensure DHS provides sufficient oversight and accountability regarding implementation and administrative enforcement of Title VI.
