Synopsis of Administrative Record for Proposed New Categorical Exclusions (CATEXs) Under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)

This document is a synopsis of the administrative record to support several new Categorical Exclusions (CATEXs) under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). As part of the update to its procedures for implementing NEPA, the Department is proposing new CATEXs to cover administrative activities, real property management activities, activities unique to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and federal assistance activities.
