Geospatial Management Office (GMO)

The Geospatial Management Office (GMO) is the designated coordinator of geospatial capabilities for the Homeland Security Enterprise (HSE). Responsibilities include geospatial programs, policy, governance, and tradecraft.

As part of the Office of the Chief Information Officer, GMO leads the strategy for geospatial data, geographic information systems (GIS), and geospatial applications. GMO works closely with federal, state, tribal, local, and private-sector organizations that serve or support HSE missions to gather and analyze requirements to inform procurement decisions.
