  • Shared Cybersecurity Services

    Shared Cybersecurity Services (SCS) is a portfolio of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)-funded contracts that provides federal civilian agencies, state fusion centers, and select information sharing and analysis centers with no-cost access to commercial Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and services. Core offerings include access to CTI management platforms (scoutPRIME and Mandiant Advantage), automated sharing, training and IT Support, and limited analytical support (e.g., Requests for Information [RFIs]).

  • Exercise Planning and Conduct Services

    To assist stakeholders in examining their Cybersecurity and physical security plans and capabilities, CISA provides end-to-end exercise planning and conduct support, including planning meetings, document and scenario development, facilitation, and after-action report development. CISA uses the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) methodology in the design, development, and execution of exercises. HSEEP uses a common methodology across all mission areas to ensure maximum integration with all Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and external stakeholders.   • Cybersecurity Advisors

    Cybersecurity Advisors (CSAs) offer Cybersecurity assistance to critical infrastructure owners and operators and SLTT officials. They introduce organizations to various CISA Cybersecurity products and services, along with other public and private resources, and act as liaisons to CISA cyber programs. They can provide cyber preparedness assessments and protective resources, working group support, leadership, partnership in public-private development, and coordination and support in times of cyber threat, disruption, or attack.

  • Protective Security Advisors

    Protective Security Advisors are trained subject matter experts in critical infrastructure protection and vulnerability mitigation. They facilitate local field activities in coordination with other DHS offices and federal agencies. They also advise and assist state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) officials and critical infrastructure owners and operators, and provide coordination and support in times of threat, disruption, or attack.

    The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Office for Bombing Prevention (OBP) Technical Assistance Program (TAP) strategically guides comprehensive Improvised Explosive Device (IED) incident risk management and provides preparedness assistance. The TAP increases preparedness capabilities across partner jurisdictions through a deliberate, synchronized, and efficient process to reduce risk to the Nation’s critical infrastructure and communities.

  • CBRNE Program

    The Federal Protective Service responds to credible chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and energetic materials (CBRNE) threats or incidents. The CBRNE Program provides support to incident investigations, threat assessments, emergency operations, and provides evacuation support, mutual aid, and training assistance. The CWMD Office supports Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (FSLTT) partners with funding, equipment and support. This is primarily accomplished through the flagship CBRN programs BioWatch, Securing the Cities, and the Mobile Detection Deployment Program and through the Training and Exercise program.

  • DHS Prevention Resource Finder

    The Prevention Resource Finder provides tools to help people prepare for and prevent acts of targeted violence like mass shootings, school and campus shootings, workplace violence, and hate crimes. Resources include community support; grant funding opportunities; information-sharing platforms; evidence-based research; bullying, depression, domestic violence, and mental health support; gun safety best practices; and training opportunities for communities to reduce the risk of targeted violence, including hate-based targeted violence.

  • Mobile Detection Deployment Program

    The mission of the CWMD's Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP) is to enhance the chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) detection, identification, interdiction, and reporting capabilities of domestic law enforcement and other public safety agencies at all levels. It is a national CBRN support capability that deploys CBRN detection equipment and technical support personnel that can be integrated into planned and emergency CBRN detection operations and utilized to augment existing stakeholder capabilities in parallel with their anti- and counter-terrorism security plans, tactics, and procedures. MDDP’s emphasis is to support CBRN detection activities along threat pathways to bolster public safety agency detection posture and support threat deterrence.
