Master Trainer Certification Roadmap
The National Threat Evaluation and Reporting (NTER) Master Trainer Program certifies Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial partners in the instruction of Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management techniques and best practices.
To obtain certification as an NTER Master Trainer, an individual must successfully complete each step of the Roadmap.
PLEASE NOTE: Once an individual applies for, and is accepted to, the Master Trainer Program, NTER will provide specific instructions regarding the completion of each step of the Roadmap.
Annual Master Trainer Renewal Requirements
To maintain certification, a Certified Master Trainer must, on an annual basis:
- Teach at least 4 Threat Evaluation and Reporting Course Training Suite courses per year
- Attend at least 2 NTER-led webinars or presentations per year
- Submit an Annual Master Trainer Training Plan
