To support Executive Order 13985, Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities through the Federal Government, and the core mission of the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) of maximizing prime and subcontracting opportunities for small businesses, the OSDBU is hosting its next virtual Vendor Outreach Matchmaking Event (VOME) on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 focusing on small businesses with socioeconomic status (HUBZone, Women-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and Small Disadvantaged Businesses).
At a minimum, the DHS OSDBU expects these sessions to raise awareness of subcontracting opportunities, facilitate discussions that may lead to mentor-protégé relationships, and a space where small businesses can present their core capabilities.
The large businesses will have an opportunity to discuss current requirements and potentially find new prime and subcontracting partners. The flyer for this event provides the registration link. More detailed information about this VOME is posted at DHS Vendor Outreach Matchmaking Event - July 20 2022
