The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program is one of the largest public–private partnerships in the United States. The SBIR program encourages U.S. small businesses to provide quality research and to develop new processes, products, and technologies in support of the missions of the U.S. government. Administered by DHS Science and Technology (S&T), the DHS SBIR Program supports a full spectrum of SBIR initiatives serving all DHS components.
To support current SBIR Program initiatives, the DHS Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) is partnering with the SBIR Program to host the first SBIR Pre-Solicitation One-on-One Vendor Outreach Matchmaking Event (VOME). The event will be held virtually and will have two registration dates: November 29, 2022, and November 30, 2022. The focus of this SBIR VOME will be on research and development small businesses providing a virtual space to ask specific questions related to improving the understanding of current topic area requirements. Detailed registration information is on SAM.gov.
The SBIR VOME registration is limited to innovative small businesses conducting research and development, as described in the pre-solicitation notice.
