The Regional Tabletop Exercise for Institutions of Higher Education (RTTX) event aims to empower the higher education community to improve preparedness and build resilience for the variety of threats and hazards that pose the greatest risk to campus communities across the nation. The 2018 Philadelphia RTTX event focused on threats and hazards related to a hazardous material (HAZMAT) incident near campus. The event seeks to provide participants with insights into response and recovery best practices for the academic community when faced with the threat of a HAZMAT incident.
