Celebrating DHS Women Inventors for International Women’s Day
In honor of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2021, we wanted to highlight the women of DHS who are inventors. To date, DHS has a total of eight women inventors who hold six patents. In addition, more than 20 inventions by DHS women are currently awaiting approval by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).

The Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman (CIS Ombudsman) is sending this message to make sure you are aware that in response to President Biden’s Executive Order on Restoring Faith in Our Legal Immigration Systems, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced it is reverting to the 2008 version of the naturalization civics test beginning March 1, 2021.
