Next Generation Maritime Public Communications Fact Sheet

The Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) is developing Next Generation Maritime Public Communication capabilities, including new system’s architecture for the Rescue 21 and Nationwide Automatic Identification System, gathering information on new technologies to incorporate into the system architecture, and creating operational prototypes to be utilized with the future system.
