Urban OpEx 2022 Skydio X2 Autonomous Unmanned Aircraft System Technology Report

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) and its National Urban Security Technology Laboratory (NUSTL) hosted Urban OpEx 2022, a weeklong Operational Experimentation (OpEx) where first responders evaluated new and emerging technology solutions in realistic, urban settings throughout the New York Metropolitan area.

Of the seven technologies evaluated is the Skydio X2 Autonomous Unmanned Aircraft System. Developed by Skydio, the X2 is an autonomous unmanned aircraft system for use by consumers, enterprises, defense, and civilian agencies for various situational awareness applications.
