Firefighter Incident Commander Training Simulator Fact Sheet

Body

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) is committed to enhancing first responder training, including advancing technologies with applications to the Next Generation First Responder (NGFR) program. This capability provides an extensible test bed for DHS S&T to experiment with new NGFR technologies and training concepts. DHS S&T is reviewing this emerging concept with an eye toward delivery of geospatial information (maps, building layouts, etc.) potentially as part of the first responders' future tool suite.
