The Port and Waterway Resiliency program is a multi-year effort within the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate that will develop risk-based strategies to enhance the U.S. Coast Guard’s management of ports and waterways, including better ways to conduct health assessments, analyze the condition of ports and waterways, and support risk-based decision making. The improved capability will be a force multiplier in addressing DHS maritime challenges while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
