The DHS Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) team will be participating in the SBIR Road Tour. This national outreach effort connects small businesses with funding opportunities provided through the SBIR/STTR programs. Small business in the innovation research and development domains are encouraged to participate in this excellent opportunity to meet SBIR Program representatives and learn how to help address the challenges facing the Homeland Security Enterprise. Join DHS, the Science and Technology Directorate and other federal agencies in a city near you!
Event Dates and Locations:
- The Southern Tour will run from April 16-20, with stops in Chattanooga, Tenn.; Huntsville, Ala.; Little Rock, Ark.; Jackson, Miss.; and Baton Rouge, La.
- The Eastern Tour will run from June 18-22, with stops in Rochester, N.Y.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; Columbus, Ohio; Huntington, W.Va.; and Durham, N.C.
- The Pacific Northwest Tour will run from July 17-20, with stops in Portland, Ore.; Seattle, Wash.; and Fairbanks, Alaska
- The New England Tour will run from August 20-24, with stops in Wilmington, Del.; New Haven, Conn.; Providence, R.I.; Manchester, N.H.; and Portland, Maine
