“Communication is key.” And communication is what will help us solve some of the greatest homeland security challenges. To ensure the Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) can connect with our vast audience, we recently merged our FirstResponder.gov page with scitech.dhs.gov. This not only puts all of our information in one place, but also puts our first responder and Homeland Security Enterprise audience one or two clicks away from what they need.
So what can you expect from the new page?
As always, you can expect our First Responders Group will bring you the same great information in its new location. Local, tribal, state, and federal first responders can continue to use this as their central hub where they can easily access resources and information on products, standards, grants, training, testing and evaluation, and best practices relevant to the first responder community.
The new site will continue to feature original First Responder Spotlights, news, videos, reports, links to first responder grants and training, and other communications tools to help first responders engage directly with DHS S&T.
We will also continue to provide program resources on these new pages like market surveys, assessment reports, or selection guides for the System Assessment and Validation for Emergency Responders program, or grant eligible equipment, test requirements, or board information for the Project 25 Compliance Assessment Program.

What else do you need to know?
During this initial phase of the migration, you may notice search capabilities are different from before. However, when the migration is complete, you’ll be able to easily find all the news, videos, knowledge products, and other information you need.
