2024 Milestones
- Celebrated the 20th anniversary of DHS Centers of Excellence, coalitions led by U.S. colleges or universities that conduct groundbreaking research on a critical homeland security challenges.
- Marked the 20th anniversary of the Small Business Innovation Research Program, which provides unique funding opportunities for small businesses to work with government agencies.
- Recognized 20th anniversaries of bilateral partnerships with Canada and the United Kingdom, which have fostered innovations in search and rescue capabilities and transportation security.
- Commemorated the 70th anniversary of Plum Island Animal Disease Center, marking seven decades of protecting American agriculture and livestock from transboundary animal diseases.
