Happy Holidays!

Release Date: December 20, 2016

‘Tis the holiday season, and all S&T
Looks forward to what the future can be.
Our work this year was marked by success
In supporting our stakeholders with the very best.
We advanced new technologies, science, and more
To help the homeland face what’s in store.
The future is bright thanks to all who are part
Of this great organization; it truly takes heart.
And my holiday wish to you all out there:
May you spend time with loved ones, be safe, and take care.

Winter scene with snowy pinecones. Happy Holidays from DHS S&T. On behalf of everyone at S&T, I wish you a joyful holiday season.  No matter how you celebrate, I hope you get to spend time with those you love and enjoy the merriment this season brings.

This time of year lends itself to reflection, and I want to sincerely thank those who have worked with S&T over the last year.  The support of our staff, stakeholders, and strategic partners makes everything possible.  We continued to push the boundaries of scientific and technological capabilities that will help secure the U.S. and support the men and women who protect it from harm.  These individuals demonstrate astounding dedication and a spirit of service that I hope we can all emulate in our lives.

Thank you all for making 2016 one of the best years for the Directorate.  I look forward to what 2017 holds.  See you in the New Year!
