Aerial Radiation Detection Systems (Gryphon)

Aerial radiation detection systems (ARDs) consist of multiple components with one or more detector modules, a control unit, a data acquisition system, a GPS sensor, and an altitude sensor. ARDs are mounted on aircraft, allowing responders to survey large areas for radiation.
