AEL Category: 03. CBRNE Operational and Search and Rescue Equipment

AEL Title: Range Finder, Laser

AEL Number: 03OE-02-LASR

SAVER Project: Binocular Laser Rangefinders

Binocular laser rangefinders combine binocular optics and laser rangefinder technology into a single, compact unit that allows the user to calculate distance without a separate device. Responders use these devices to acquire accurate measurements for accident reconstructions, conduct site surveys, or acquire the distance to a target.

Please contact NUSTL@hq.dhs.gov regarding access to the following additional documents: Focus Group Report, Market Survey Report, and Assessment Report on Binocular Laser Rangefinders.
